Jacob is 4 months old already! He goes on Tuesday for his 4 month visit to the doctor. Hans is taking him so that I don't have to take the time off of work, and since he was able to switch his shift and not take any time off himself.

So tomorrow is kind of a bittersweet day for Hans. He is starting his new program for Electrical Dispatch, but it is also the 4 year anniversary of his car accident. We are grateful for every day since that accident. 1 week in ICU, 4 of them on life support, a total of 1 month in the hospital, 10 surgery's later and they have him most of the way put back together. He has a titanium rod in his right leg held in by 3 screws. Then he has 3 plates and 18 screws in his left arm. The doctors have cleared him to have the plates and screws taken out of his arm, but he is not to thrilled to have them taken out since it would mean another surgery that just isn't necessary. So for now he will just keep them in unless they start to bother him.
